We went there on a sunday night , the waiter was really welcoming, patient and friendly 🙂 the food was amazing , the presentation was on point ; the waiting time wasn’t long at all and they always make sure that everything was ok . The only unpleasant thing is the fact that the seating wasn’t comfortable at all not enough space for your legs. And the tables are very close to each other hopefully it wasn’t crowded that day . Overall from entering to leaving the experience was good enough .

Good food. Could use more variety. I think the griot was very authentic

I didn’t actually ate at the restaurant but had the pleasure of going there to get some breakfast for my wife. Though it was past breakfast time, the kitchen staff made an exception and sent up to our room a quality breakfast! The chocolate was perfect, I recommend it to anyone who’d like to drink some real Haitian chocolate! For those complaining about the small portions, remember this is not a buffet, I think the portions were good enough to no longer be famished and the plates were well presented so kudos to the staff at Le Michel!!!

I recently ate at Le Michele and was thoroughly disappointed. First, the seating is uncomfortable. The table slants out at the bottom leaving no room for your legs. I am short and this has never been an issue for me elsewhere, but the entire evening I had to sit sideways. The staff was eager and available when we arrived, but after our drinks were served our waiter was nowhere to be found. My water was only refilled when I asked, and looking around the restaurant most of the tables had the same problem. Numerous things on the menu were not available. My meat was not cooked as I requested it, and the portion sizes were small. I have dined out often in Haiti, and better menus, service, and ambiance are definitely found elsewhere.

Everything went perfectly there . The food is delicious and super fresh. The service was just amazing. The server was extremely nice and efficient. Tip : you can actually ask to eat outside on the terrace.

Went there last evening (Friday night) and was pleasantly surprised that it’s an outdoors restaurant.- this may be a challenge when it rains but otherwise the breeze makes it very enjoyable. This is still a hidden gem, there weren’t that many people there. We sat at the bar and I have to say this: it is the FIRST time ever in Haiti that a waiter poured me a glass of water without me having to ask- no I was not drunk, I only had 1 martini. I was also impressed that he knew the answer when we asked how many hotel rooms there were. Kudos to the Best Western team! Little things like these make a huge difference. We only had appetizers and they were fairly good too. I’m giving it a 4-star only because I didn’t try any main dish
