Neg Mawon

The Neg Mawon ( The unknown Fugitive Slave ) bronze statue is one of PaP urban landmark.  It was created by artist and architect Albert Mangones  in 1968. The statue stands in Champs de Mars. The conch is a reminder of the call to revolution against the French, starting in 1791.
